Acer announced first smartphone with 4K recording in Berlin at IFA 2013 on 2nd September. The term 4K refers to the horizontal resolution (instead of the vertical) of these formats, which are all on the order of 4,000 pixels. The 6-inch Liquid S2 has comes with the tag of first 4K Ultra HD recording capability smartphone. 4K UHD has twice the horizontal and vertical resolution of the 1080p HD format, with four times as many pixels overall. The resolution of 4K UHD is 3840-by-2160.
You will feel a different experience of photography with Liquid S2. To make 4k recording possible, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 2.2GHz processor is used in device. For better connectivity 4G LTE and Wi-Fi 802.11 ac present in device. The mobile can also work as a Wi-Fi router and can connect with up to 6 Wi-Fi enabled devices. The smartphone will run on Android 4.2.2 OS.
