Google’s Nexus 5 comes with Android’s latest version KitKat and it have include many new features. Here we are talking about top five features of Nexus 5 and Android's latest version KitKat, that you will find inside the device.

Homescreen Panels:

In latest version of Android you fill find a new look of home screen panel. The homescreen of device have only two icon but you add more according to your wish from your apps and widgets. To manage homescreen, a long press in any app or widget and you can get that one on your homescreen page. In same manner you can also change or rearrange wallpaper of your screen. There is no wasted space in KitKat OS.


In notification section user will find always-accessible notifications. Before this app, if user in a full screen app, there is no other way to see notification except to close it, but now in Android 4.4, this problem is solved by Google. Samsung have already use this type of trick in its TouchWiz overlay, so you can say it is not a new one.
In Android KitKat, if you are in full-screen mode, just swipe down from the top of screen and icons and clock are shows in screen and if you made a another swipe down you will reach in full notification shade like normal.

Voice Control:

Nexus 5 include all the latest search features of Google inside the device. Google expand voice control hot word detection. For searching through Google, you just need to say “Ok, Google” from the homescreen and device will start searching work.

Tap & Pay:

In Nexus 5 user will first time see that, no requirement to a secure element fixed in NFC chips to process contactless payments. Nexus 5 support the Google wallet and it will takes a little time to authorize Wallet with OS’ card emulation framework. The all payment apps will installed by Tap and Pay through the main setting page.

Now Cards on Homescreen:

User will find Google Now cards on homescreen of Nexus 5. User will get Googles Now’s card view, immediate to the left of the main panel. Through this app Google is trying to bringing its predictive search technology to the front.
